I was a college student in Ohio, when my friends and I roadtripped to Daytona Beach for spring break. Squeeze performed there (and I didn’t even know they were going to be doing a show there then; I think Richard Marx also played there for MTV that year) and put on a great show, as you can see in the video. I was walking around and saw them hanging out in their bus. I said hello to Gilson. While I was a fan of theirs at the time, this really solidified my love for the lads.
