Goodbye Girl in Yellow vinyl – for Record Store Day!

The records to be released on Record Store day have been announced and our very own Squeeze finally have an exclusive release – Goodbye Girl in Yellow vinyl:

A splendid yellow-vinyl super-scarce seven to celebrate South London’s sublimely superb Squeeze. Released in November 1978, ‘Goodbye Girl’ was the first single to be taken from their second album, ‘Cool For Cats’. One of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook’s most enduring melodies, ‘Goodbye Girl’ has been held in high regard for years, and has rarely been out of the group’s live set. One of the few Squeeze singles of that era NOT to be released in coloured vinyl, that situation has been conclusively rectified for 2016, and this limited edition comes in a glorious cover-matching yellow. Love for Squeeze grows stronger year by year. They were back in the Top 20 in 2015 with their ‘From The Cradle To The Grave’ album (soundtracking Danny Baker’s BBC2 programme of the same name) and a sell-out UK tour.
