Squeeze have recently finished a very successful tour in the US and are starting rehearsals soon for the UK tour at the end of the year. You can find all dates at www.squeezeofficial.com. There will be a UK release of this available in October with some added lovely things.

Squeeze ‘Spot The Difference’ is being released on Anchor & Hope Records in the US on 3rd August. Over the last few months lots of hard work has gone in to re-recording some of the old catalogue, this release is your first opportunity to hear these great songs all refreshed and lovely. We are very proud of the recordings and hope you won’t be able to spot too many differences!

Don’t forget we have the big UK tour at the end of the year, dates on the official website also.

If you have not joined any of the facebook pages do have a look, they are a hive of activity.

There is lots of exciting press and radio in the UK and US to look forward to this year, keep an eye on the websites and facebook/myspace pages.

Glenn’s ‘Pandemonium Ensues’ album is going to be re-released very soon on Saturday Morning Music Club. There will be additional tracks and videos/photos available. One of the tracks is a previously unreleased song and there will be demos and acoustic versions. If you do not know about SMMC please check out Chris Difford’s site for information.

Glenn will be going up Mount Fuji this August with the Love Hope Strength Foundation. You can find more information here: www.lovehopestrength.org

You will also find information here on the bone marrow drives that LHS will be doing at all the US Squeeze shows this summer. We are really proud that we have managed to work with LHS to make this happen, all the venues and promoters on the tour have been very helpful in all arrangements so a big thanks to them also. If there are any (and we hope there will be) bone marrow matches from a donor that has donated from our shows, we will be informed and will pass that information on to you all.

Glenn and Chris received a PRS Heritage Plaque today which was unveiled on the wall of the old Borough Hall in Greenwich, now the Greenwich Dance Agency. They were on BBC Breakfast news this morning to talk about this and announce a large UK Squeeze tour at the end of the year.

Lots of exciting things going on in the Glenn Tilbrook camp at the moment. He is currently in the studio recording with Nine Below Zero for a joint project.

The acoustic tour went well and he is off to Ireland on the 24th March for some solo acoustic shows and 3 shows with Nine Below Zero. All dates up on the website at this link

Glenn is also performing tonight at Chris Difford’s ‘Songs In The Key Of London’ night at the Barbican, should be fun. Then off to Meribel at the weekend for the Feeling’s festival ‘Little World Festival’.

On the 23rd March Squeeze are honoured by a PRS Music Heritage Plaque. These are being given to bands to recognise their contribution to the music business in the UK over the years. The plaque is being unveiled at the site of one of their first gigs in Greenwich at the Old Borough Hall. More information on the website and the myspace sites.

Glenn finally starts twittering! OK, not every day, but it is a start. If you have not already, check him out either on twitter or on his facebook page.

We are finally ready to upload the all new all singing all dancing Quixotic Shop. This should be live by Wednesday this week. Do take a look, it is bringing us in to the 21st Century finally! Squeeze are confirmed for the Isle Of Wight Festival this year, there will be more shows to announce very shortly in the UK and US.

Glenn is planning more work with The Love Hope Strength Foundation this year. We have received a lot of support from radio on Glenn’s new record. The single ‘Still’ was playlisted for a month at Radio 2, the first playlist that Glenn has had in 8 years! Don’t forget the band are on the Jonathan Ross show this coming Saturday.

The Question: On the cover is a kind of photo-montage of ‘Squeeze-land’ where you will find many references to Squeeze songs or lyrics, some obvious, some rather more subtle… How many are there and what are they? The cover spreads over onto the back where the dates are but for the purpose of this competition, please do NOT include any references featured on the ‘flyer’. (Someone else did the artwork for the flyer which we stylised for the program and we have no idea why there is a crucifix on it!). See thumbnail in left column.
