I love this spoof recording of ‘Cool For Cats’ by Kraftwerk to the tune of Kraftwerk’s ‘The Model’. It was only available on a white label 7″ single with no indication of its origin or the vocalist. It amused me – I hope it will amuse you!

Here’s what I was told about it:

I know little about this record. My guess is it’s a local band from the east midlands (I live in Nottingham).
The white sleeve is numbered 061 so it was likely to be a small pressing 100? 200? 500?
I don’t know who the artist/band is.

Sung to the tune of Kraftwerks “The Model” I think it is a classic gem, with humour too.

Just a quick email to let you all know that Glenn’s third Demo CD is now available from the Quixotic shop.

The CD is called: ‘Dreams Are Made Of This – The Demo Tapes 1974-1980′ and it covers the Squeeze, Cool For Cats and Argy Bargy albums.

Glenn is still on the road in the UK on his acoustic tour, tickets are selling really well but there are a few left for a few of the gigs.

We also have Glenn Tilbrook and Fluffer t towels now available on the site shop and will have egg cups from next week, these are all available from the shows.
