Hey – this was actually Pine Knob, Clarkston Michigan. I’m DESPERATELY trying to find the mermaid t-shirt from this tour…if anyone has one/has a picture of the graphic, let me know:-)

That’s why it took so long to find this show on the site. It was at Pine Knob (now known as DTE Energy Music Theatre) in Clarkston MI. The Smithereens opened for Squeeze. The songs that stand out from that show were 3 album tracks I never expected to hear that night: “Piccadilly”, “When The Hangover Strikes” and “Vanity Fair”(the last 2 with Keith on upright bass) ,which contains my favorite line – “She comes home late with another screw loose, she swears to have had just a pineapple juice”.
