Brief Encounter …
You know it’s kinda weird .. but quite often when I come into contact with someone famous it isn’t until afterwards that I realise who they were … back in the early 70’s I went along with a friend to a recording session at the apartment of record producer Eddie Offord. Through the smokey haze in Eddie’s MASSIVE living room, I could just about make out ‘a bunch of hippies’ sitting round doing what hippies do … and I noticed one guy was playing some really cool bottle-neck on an old acoustic guitar. l grabbed a spare guitar and had a jam with him … Hours later l was giving my friend a lift home and mentioned that l thought the bottle-neck guitarist was a pretty good player …
“so he should be” said my mate … “that was Mick Taylor from the Stones.”
Well it was dark in there .. and I’m glad that l didn’t realise who he was cos’ l probably would’ve been too self-concious to jam with him!

some say it’s a bleedin’ miracle ..
some call it fake …
some say it’s all a joke ….
you decide ….. read BENTLEY’S BLOG!

until next time .. cheerio from the Mother of all Bass Pluckers …
hey? … I must be a Mother-Plucker!!
