Quite some time since I’ve seen Glenn solo, and a sense of deja vu…..it was some years ago on a cold 4th November at the same venue that Glenn phoned Chris to wish him a happy birthday…on that evening Chris was out so Glenn left a message for him to phone back when he was home….and gave the phone to me to look after while he carried on with the gig. Now I’m crap with technology….and when it lit up like a Christmas tree I panicked, and it was all I could to to stop myself tugging on Glenn’s trouser leg to get his attention. So…..SIXTEEN years later (not six, Glenn!), thank heavens Chris was home, and we got to sing happy birthday to him again!
Al in all, great gig, much audience participation, like the new songs, there were old songs I’d have like to hear but with a back catalogue the size of Glenn’s there were bound to be favourites left out, but other surprises put in……an entire room singing along to Slap & Tickle was awesome! Really, just had a ball. Want to do it all over again!!

Yes, I remember that gig Kay. Is it really 16 years? Now I’ve left Bristol, looking forward to the Wirral gig on 28th Nov…
