  Yes, I love Misadventure too. What a classic Difford lyric – it’s a cheeky lyric with the same humour as some of Chris’s best words from the first two albums. There’s so much gusto in the performance as well. Breathless!

  Separate Beds reminds me a lot of The Knack from the Cool For Cats album. It has the same sense of space and sparseness in the music. There’s an epic quality to the instrumental arrangement which sounds a lot like Kraftwerk to me. Love it!

  I think it must be the Squeeze album which brings back the greatest memories of hearing it, of meeting up with friends, of going to gigs, of meeting the band, of taking their photographs. The first time I heard it I had such a strong emotional reaction to it. I was young and I lived every song.

Tough call but we’ll pick “Separate Beds”and “If I Didn’t Love You”. I remember the first time hearing “If I Didn’t Love You” and thinking the record was skipping! :-)
