My first Squeeze experience…7th June 1977 (Silver Jubilee Day) – Outside ‘The Bell’ on the Greenwich/Deptford border. They were outstanding on that day.
Squeeze were in the process of releasing their ‘Packet of Three’ ep and Jill Firmanovski’s pictures of the gig are on its cover. At that moment in time and the Sex Pistols were at No 1 with ‘God Save the Queen’…Glorious days.

  My first (and only, regrettably) live Squeeze experience was a gig at the Brecknock in Camden – Aug 1977. I’d only just moved to London a few weeks ago and didn’t know anyone. I remember it being excellent.
  Had I known they were Charlton fans I’d have been even more impressed!
