Great venue. Great band in it’s prime. This is 30 years ago, so the memory is a little fuzzy but I do recall coming away all sweaty and happy from a great evening of bouncing on the spring ballroom floor to the sweet Squeeze songs. As has been said many times, I’m sure, your studio tracks are fine but live you cooked. I remember the lovely contrast in Glenn and Chris’s voices and how that works so well. I remember the great hooks. The wise-beyond-your-years stories you tell. And I have to say, I remember the presence and wild energy of Jools Holland pounding away boogie-woogie style on his poor abused keyboard. This was a show for the ages in a venue for the ages. Thank you guys.
