I was at this wonderful show! I had paid a premium price (in those days about $65!) for a sweet pair of seats in about the 15th row, just left of center. It was a lovely and clear night, and I went with my ex-wife — when things were still good with us. I had recently returned from NY and was thrilled to be seeing one of my all-time favorite bands. Well, from the first minute of the show—which was phenomenal—these two stupid young girls right in front of us were up on their feet dancing, and I mean, the WHOLE SHOW. Of all the seats in this beautiful, cozy outdoor auditorium, which has just over six thousand seats, we were sitting behind these two twits!!! They would not sit down despite several requests, and we spent the whole show having to look around them to see the band. It was ungodly rude!! Musically, the show was fantastic, but I didn’t get to see much of it, unfortunately. This was when Cosi Fan Tutti came out, I believe. I think the band was Glenn, Chris, Jools, Gilson, and Keith Wilkinson on bass; there might have been an additional keyboard player as well. Glenn was spot on the whole night with leads and vocals. Other than the two stupid girls blocking the view, it was a splendid show and I am really glad I got to see them while they were still relatively young and playing their best material.
