Classic track one of the best.. pure nostalgia ..btw saw Squeeze in Clearwater FL, USA 4 days ago live, superb , seen them originally back in late 70s Hammersmith Odeon supporting The Tubes , still great band live .. missed them doing ‘Cat on The Wall’ .. still have that on Vinyl together with other notable early singles

Bloody hell,nearly 15 years ago! I was there and met Glenn & Mark Feltham in the smoking room, and had a chat. I saw 9 Below Zero & Dr Feelgood in Brighton last weekend. Met Mark & Dennis sfter their set, Mark had totally dorgotten about thais particular gig.I also asked them very politely to come back to Ireland, iespecially Cork., they said “That would be nice”.

It appears some of the photo files in these galleries have disappeared -the galleries for Manchester University and Manchester Apollo in 1981 have gone empty since the last time I went searching through here a couple of years back, when there were several if I’m remembering right. I’m not sure how closely the older sections of the archive are watched over, or if there’s any way to bring all the photos back, but I certainly hope it’s a possibility, since I haven’t been able to find the ones I remember anywhere else, and they really were quite good.

I was 16 and attended this gig with my mate Dave. We’d seen Squeeze already at the Brum Town Hall back in March supporting Eddie and the Hot Rods. Loved this gig. Band were in terrific form p,aging the latest album and EP. Harry on bass did his usual forward roll whilst still playing. There was a scuffle in the crowd when a drunk got rowdy and local rocker Steven Gibbons, in a red leather suit, stepped in and helped the security guard chuck him out. Great gig!

Oh goddamn. That maroon shirt with adifford and Tillbrook in a semi circle and the Squeeze EST. 1973in the middle, is just so damn beautiful!!! I would absolutely go FAR and do things out of character for me. To just have a shot at buying one of those tees in medium! Please make a54year old who is still is so impressed and excited by the incredible songs from squeeze an incrediblely

Great song, but do all copies of it have distortion in the mix? My cd version has some distortion and the version posted on youtube suffers likewise.
