This was my first time seeing Squeeze live, though had been a long-time fan. Amazing gig, I was blown away. Elton John joined the boys on stage, couldn’t believe my eyes!

It was my first Squeeze gig. I was 16. Our seats were rubbish, so we had to sneak into the stalls and hide in the shadows until they came on. Chris said “Come up to the front” and we were there before he’d finished speaking. It was a fantastic gig, and my friend almost fainted when Elton John came on. We met Chris in the car park afterwards, and he was (as always) absolutely lovely.
