“Just a quickie to report that Glenn was in fine form last night at the Brook – arrived late, but was in an exceptionally good mood because his boys had arrived at Heathrow that morning, safe and sound.

Evening opened with the wonderful Ben Jones, although the audience paid little attention to what he was actually doing…..with Glenn bounding on stage around 9.15pm. For a little over 2 hours we were treated to a multitude of mainly Squeeze/GT stuff, with the occasional cover thrown in, Voodoo Chile, Wine spodee odee, California Dreamin, that sort of thing.

Obligatory fashion report: blue t-shirt, grey cargoes that have seen better days and those funny blue slipper things again, Ben similarly attired.

Apologies for brevity but am doing this from work, and will not have time to
submit anything any more substantial as am off up to Putney tonight to do the “chris difford christmas cracker” which should be interesting……….”
