Glenn Tilbrook at the Southside Festival on 16th May. Intimate venue for a brilliant, fantastic, entertaining, performance by Glenn despite an obvious sore throat ! Friendly and open gig – and even a hug from the great man himself at the end of the night! What more could you ask for?

Yes indeed a great night with the great man himself in Glasgow last Sunday night. Glen powered his way through a set of solo and Squeeze songs that kicked off with Walk Away and included Vicky Verky, Black Coffee in Bed and Some Fantastic Place.He also included many covers such as Whichita Lineman, I hear you Knocking and a hummed version (Glenn didnt know the words to the first two verses)of Marakesh Express as requested by Nick Harper who was constantly shouting requests throughout the night. Due to his sore throat he struggled to hit some high notes especially on Hostage and Still. Glenn recognised this and revealed at the end of the show that the voice will be back and so will he. As usual after the show he spent time chating to fans, signing autographs and posing for photos. What a star, come back soon Glenn. Cheers love. Billy.
