Not so much a review as such – just a few observations from last night. Must say that I thought it was the BEST in the current run, which ended last night. The pub was packed and everyone was shoulder to shoulder – I don’t think I have seen it so busy. Glenn was in his familiar spot and with Simon following up on drums and John Bentley being king the of the bass whats not to like. Some great songs like “I hear you Knockin” and “Walk on the Wild Side” (with John Bentley on vocals) were played, with many Squeeze Classics including Nail, Hangover and Messed Around.
The really great thing about last night was Glenn was really on fire with that guitar and it showed in his playing.

I for one am going to miss these Tuesday outings. The pub was a bit over-full for me this week, being a shorter person I felt a little hemmed in but the evening was amazing and the song selection EIDE and varied.

My favourite was a version of Eddie Cochrans 20 flight rock / hopefully coming to a YouTube channel near you soon :)

it was really nice to see one of Glenns little lads playing his first public performance – the James Bond theme with dad on base :)

See you all at the Albert Hall then???
