Also played covers of a duet with Elvis Costello (name of song?),
Voodoo Child, I’m a Believer, California Dreamin’, and a couple of
others I was not familiar with…

The audience was slightly over 100, to my best guess. Most people
did not recognize him as he hobbled with crutches onto the stage.
Glenn seemed to have a tremendous amount of energy considering he was in Nebraska playing to a realtively small crowd.

Near the end of his set, he moved the entire audience to the other
end of the venue to play three songs while hopping on and off a chair with his sore ankle (he didn’t use crutches to move around, though, claiming the audience “cured” him). He thanked the crowd again for being able to walk and left the stage at the end of his set without using crutches. He looked considerably worse when coming back on stage and leaving at the end of the encore- a little overzealous, perhaps…

Kind of amusing- some guy kept yelling for Cool for Cats- Glenn
responded that he played it one time on his own and that the result
was so painful that he now leaves Chris’ songs to Chris…

I never had the chance to see Glenn play with Squeeze, and I figure
that this was only chance to see him in Nebraska. Once great music
comes here once it never tends to come back…”
