Reinventing The Wheel

Reinventing the Wheel
(Tilbrook/Jones)

Avoiding unwanted social contact
I’ve got a friend always there for me
An ideal partner when I’m on a work break
Just like a sailor alone on the sea

And I’m not reinventing the wheel
I just like the way that it makes me feel
We’re together with missionary zeal
Every time

I never answer the door or the telephone
If I’m spending my time more fruitfully
I give the impression that I’m really busy
But here I am watching a DVD

Just me and my little friend
Cause he can see sunshine
When it’s raining outside
He can see sunshine

I don’t know how long it will take me today
A two-minute wonder or a three-act play
