Squeeze (and The English Beat) absolutely KILLED in Baltimore last night! The energy from a TGI-Friday crowd was literally shaking from the rafters – and the bands both seemed to feed off the frenzy.

Vocals in *top* form; blistering Glenn guitar solos; Jon pacing the stage with his bass like a happy and determined tiger; Stephen and Simon were bookends of brilliance on the keyboards and drums; and cool Chris kept a masterful lid on the tight yet wild show, lest it spin Out of Control!

In my 30th year of seeing them live, I think this is one of the best Squeeze shows I’ve ever seen. And I think that’s sayin’ something!

A fine show. Plenty of deep cuts for we long timers, then one classic after another. Loved the “Up The Junction” cartoon! Thanks for coming back to Baltimore.
