I was there … and can definitely remember Elvis Costello being billed as Edgar J Hoover and the Frigidaires (it was even chalked on a board near the entrance). I have no recall of the name Otis etc but perhaps that was a different night? I was a regular at the bar and the barmaid (excuse the old fashioned word) was happy to sell me 12 tickets. So, several of my friends also got to enjoy that fantastic last night. It was a privilege.

So why did the BBC not live stream the Squeeze set on their 50th anniversary, particularly when they’re the only act worth watching at this year’s pathetic line-up? Fcuk the BBC.

Is there a page on PacketOfThree that has a list of *every* song and what album/single it’s from? This seems pretty close, but I noticed “Wrong Way” not listed above. And obviously no Cradle to the Grave & The Knowledge yet

Classic track one of the best.. pure nostalgia ..btw saw Squeeze in Clearwater FL, USA 4 days ago live, superb , seen them originally back in late 70s Hammersmith Odeon supporting The Tubes , still great band live .. missed them doing ‘Cat on The Wall’ .. still have that on Vinyl together with other notable early singles
