The UK pressing of the Love Circles single released on 15 January 1990 and from the brilliant but ignored Frank album. It was the second single to be released, after If It’s Love. It failed completely to chart, just like its predecessor. It was nice to have another Chris Difford lead vocal after a decade of waiting.

The b-side, Red Light, was written by Merrill E. Moore and is a throwback to the sort of music Squeeze were playing when they first got together; rhythm and blues.
