Got the bus up from Keele. Biddulph’s a small former industrial town about 10 miles north of Stoke almost in Cheshire, but actually and spiritually in Staffordshire. Biddulph up in Arms, a non-profit making amateurish in the nicest possible way, put acts on usually in the Biddulph Arms pub, hiring the town hall for their `bigger’ acts.
Chris played here with Boo Hewardine a couple of years ago.
Small municipal hall 200 or so capacity, pretty full, bring your own drink, enthusiastic crowd..

My friend Karen, a Glenn virgin, enjoyed it very much too, although I told her that Glenn says `Cheers then!’ every time he takes a drink, and he didn’t once..
