Well, what a stunning way for Stephen (Lord) Large to bow out on a high with this fabulous session. The version of Some Fantastic Place they played has never sounded better and as for that guitar intro. to Tempted – doesn’t that just get better and better. I love the rock solid musicianship of John’s bass playing too. Classic! Enjoy!

speaking of radio did the absolute radio broadcast ever go out? if so do you have a copy?

    Did it go out in the end, David? It didn’t go out as planned due to a “technical difficulty” and was rescheduled for the following Monday. I listened in then only to hear a different live session and no reference to Squeeze. Does anyone know?

      I haven’t heard it yet and it’s not on the Absolute Radio web site. It’ll be annoying if they didn’t record it properly! At least Snip Turn was there to record some great video for us all.
